… Yet no one? Ha! No, this will not be one of those posts about how lonely I am and how no one will read this. This is a re-introduction of me.
I’m Ryan. I go by RyeNCode on this site and some others as it sounds kind of like my name, and my occupation combined with a shot of booze. I program better after I’ve had a few… so what? (A note to co-workers and employers: Not while working, unless you bought me a brew at lunch at the pub. This by the way is a great way to motivate an afternoon)
My career is heavily IT related. I’m a programmer by trade and customer/client support by necessity and experience. Some of the posts here will be related to computers and technology. Sometimes they will be about work. Hopefully that portion will not too closely resemble a list of things not to do.
My Personal life will also have a bit of a focus in the posts here. As of writing this, I’m a single heterosexual male. I’m hoping to change one of those descriptors, sooner rather than later. Here is a hint: I’m not keen on staying single.
I have a great group of friends that I hang out with and care for. Sometimes you will hear of them, and maybe from them. I also have my family, my parents and extended family. I have no brothers or sisters. I don’t think you will be hearing from my family here.
This shall be a blog, like many others, focused around me and what I see, do, think and feel. Sometimes it will be very personal, sometimes silly, and sometimes nerdy. Hopefully it can be entertaining or thought provoking.
I will set up the comments such that they will need approval initially. If you have had an approved comment, your further comments will be approved by default. I want to encourage discussion and debate. Be advised that rude and disrespectful comments will not be tolerated.
