I want these goggles.

I have so many reasons to want these goggles.

They are bad ass looking steam punk goggles worn by Trent Rezner (a mortal embodiment of the god of awesome) in the music video for the (although popular) great song Closer.

I want these goggles.

I can’t have THESE goggles.  They belong to Trent. Or I suppose have been auctioned off or sitting in some prop room covered in dust (the horror!)

I will have to suffice with a reasonable facsimile.  I will have to construct a set that reasonably resembles the goggles I want.

I have a project  now…

Yep, I just found out about this on Tuesday.  It seems that sometimes I really am living under a rock.

This is what seems to be Trent’s current project with his wife and and another fellow.  Really I didn’t know Trent was married so I guess this further shows my subterranean habitat has a negative effect on my ability to keep up on what happens in the world.

Either way, the link above goes to the website for the project.  There you can download the six track EP for free.  That’s pretty bad ass.  I love that Trent has done that for his last few releases.  Even though I want to purchase it on physical media.
